Production Services Interview with Luis Alejandro Berdejo right after he finished directing his first feature The new daughter with Kevin Costner and Ivana Baquero.
Berdejo had already great credits as a writer of movies like "Rec" or "Quarantine". But this is his first work as a director in a feature film and has made his debut directing the very much awarded and loved by the audience American actor Kevin Costner and the very talented young Spanish actress Ivana Baquero (The pan´s labyrinth").
There is a big demand for Spanish directors in the American market: Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 weeks later), Jaume Collet-Serra (The Orphan"), Juan Antonio Bayona ("The Orphanage"), Nacho Cerda (The abandoned") and Berdejo has joined successfully this group of talented international Spanish directors who are working in the American film industry.

Production Services The closing night and Award Ceremony Gala concluded the13th edition of the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival where 75 films were showcased.

LALIFF run October 11-16 and opened with the West coast Premiere of Pedro Almodovar´s "Broken Embraces" (Spain) who also was awarded the festival´s GABI Life Time Achievement Award.

Sagrera Producciones is about to release in several countries in Europe (Spain, Germany, Holland, Portugal and France among others) the documentary "The Spanish Hollywood".

This very unique documentary directed by Pablo Bujosa will show very interesting footage about the influence of Spanish artists and filmmakers in the film industry in Hollywood from the 1920 until today.One of the best moments of the production in Los Angeles was the interview with Spanish actor Antonio Banderas. A very inspiring interview which shows why, so far, he has been the only Spanish actor who made it in Hollywood.

It will be aired by Canal Arte, Canal Odisea, AVRO and Castilla-La Mancha television.
